You won’t be able to use the cd discs anymore or the dongle they supplied later with the cd, you can only download the programme from Photodex. It sounds you haven’t used Photodex for some time. On saying that I have no interest in Photopia as it is not value for money. I am happy to pay the low price of $15 AUD for CC Photography edition as I use it daily and always have access to the latest version and is way cheaper than a licensed copy. I have a different view on subscriptions and it comes down to value for money. With some time and learning this may change. The GUI has improved but still harder to get slide zoom and move than Producer IMHO. I have downloaded the trial copy of PTE and had a quick look. I will not be using Photopia as the cost is significant and no doubt PTE 10 now is much better value for my uses. I have managed to download all the music but te file type is propietary and can only be opened in Producer (I have V8 and will not update before Jan 31) I really liked the Music Library in Producer and always found music quickly and easily. On saying that I do not make many Av's but it may become more important for my work. I found the learning curve realatively easy. I kept it up to date until 6.5? I then discovered ProShow Producer and switched to that for numerous reasons but mainly due to the easier to use interface IMHO. Initially purchasing 25 copies of PTE as a group buy for our camera club many years ago. I have used both PTE and ProShow Producer.
